Who is Ura meant for?
Ura works with neurodivergent adolescents and young adults who benefit from structured routines, consistent support, and practical skill-building.
Does Ura work with non-verbal students?
Yes. We support students across communication profiles like non-verbal, partially verbal, verbal, and those who communicate using writing, pictures, or assistive devices.
What kind of skills are taught?
We focus on vocational skills, life and functional skills, and communication skills that support daily participation, work routines, and meaningful engagement.
Is this a short-term or time-bound program?
No. Support at Ura evolves with the student’s needs and growth rather than following fixed timelines or “graduation” targets.
How is progress measured?
Progress is seen in increased participation, improved routines, stronger regulation, clearer communication, and growing functional independence ,not comparison or speed. And it is all backed by regular data recorded for every student.
Is Ura suitable if my child is ready for open employment?
Ura may not be the right fit if a family is seeking rapid placement into unsupported or high-pressure employment environments.
Does Ura offer academic instruction?
Yes, we do provide academic instructions and support.
How does intake work?
Intake begins with conversations followed by a detailed assessment .We take time to understand the individual, their communication style, history, and support needs before planning next steps.
How are families involved?
Families are kept informed through ongoing communication and collaborative planning as needs change.
